Creative and Active Lives - Evidence and Learning
The evaluation of our Creative and Active Lives initiative is being carried out by The Lines Between. They will also be evaluating our Workforce Development initiative, as they are linked under the theme of relationship-based practice and policy. The Lines Between will publish their final Evaluation Report in July 2021.
The aim of this funding is to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of care experienced young people through increased participation in creative and physical activities, with a view to increasing their social networks, skills, and health.
The Trust funded 14 Creative and Active Lives projects.
Our evaluation will look at how far this funding has achieved:
- improved physical and mental wellbeing of young people with care experience through increased participation in creative and physical activities
- increased social networks, skills, and wellbeing for young people with care experience
- increased confidence and skills of staff, families and carers who support young people with care experience, encouraging them to take part in activities alongside others
