Getting It Right For Looked After Children And Young People Strategy
The new Scottish Government's strategy for Looked After Children and Young People which sets out what they are doing and what they expect other corporate parents to do has been published. The strategy outlines the three priority areas of work to improve outcomes for looked after children and young people. These are early engagement, early permanence and improving the quality of care, and set out the Scottish Executive’s expectations and commitments with the thread running through the strategy of the importance of relationships.
