Senior Evidence and Influencing Officer - Maternity Cover (11 months)

Job Purpose

The Life Changes Trust is looking to appoint a Senior Evidence and Influencing Officer for an 11-month maternity cover (to begin May/June 2019).  This is a full-time role, for which the Trust is happy to consider secondments.

The role will be responsible for supporting:

  • the promotion of learning and evidence about what works best for care experienced young people as they transition from being in care 
  • the development of evidence that demonstrates a deep understanding of the particular needs of care experienced young people who may face multiple or distinct challenges when transitioning out of care
  • the delivery of a Programme Evaluation Plan

Requirements

Educated to degree level and with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience, it is essential that the successful candidate has an understanding of the Trust’s beneficiary groups, or an ability and willingness to develop this.

Senior Funding Officer, Care Experienced Young People Programme

Job Purpose

The Life Changes Trust is looking to appoint a Senior Funding Officer to our Care Experienced Young People Programme. The role will be responsible for supporting the development of high quality Trust funding management processes and arrangements, and supporting funding management within the Trust. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • working with colleagues to administer high quality Trust funding policies and procedures
  • supporting funding applicants to submit high quality applications, responding to enquiries where necessary
  • ensuring funding data is recorded accurately and effectively on the Trust’s Salesforce funding management system
  • assisting with assessment of funding applications in line with agreed criteria and procedures
  • preparing reports with recommendations on funding applications for consideration by Directors, CEO and Trustees as necessary
  • managing funding awards once agreed, ensuring effective communication with and support for funding recipients
  • liaising with Awardees to ensure that monitoring and self-evaluation reports are submitted as required
  • working with Communications staff to support effective promotion and communication about funded projects and their impact
  • being fully engaged with all forms of communication used by funded projects, including social media, to track their external communications

Requirements
