Glasgow Life DFC

Glasgow Life was awarded funding of £31,000, to run from May 2018 to April 2019.

The aim of this project was to established a network of dementia friendly mini-hubs in north east Glasgow (based mainly in libraries and community centres) in order to increase the engagement of people living with dementia and unpaid carers, help them shape their own Dementia Friendly Communities and provide advice, support and activities.

The project engaged directly with people with dementia and their carers, as this interaction allowed Glasgow Life to shape bespoke, relevant and effective programmes of activity in each of the dementia friendly mini-hubs.
